What kids say....

Well I just wanted to take a quick minute and write this down or else I will never remember and this is the reason I wanted to do a blog in the first place. To remember the little things that my kids do from day to day.....I thought it was the cutest thing. My middle child, we will call him Cody...he has the sweetest spirit...just like his daddy. We often say that our oldest child is like me, which is not ALL bad...and the middle is just like his daddy....and our daughter...well the jury is still out she is only 2 1/2 but I would have to say she is more like me...which could be a good thing. This is the boy who has asked me many times if I would marry him....Oh how he pulls at my heart strings.

Anyway the other day while homeschooling we were doing our morning Bible and we always pray as a family (the kids and I). I ask them if they have any prayer requests and they tell me...then we all take our turns at praying. Cody starts praying and he says "Dear Jesus I want to pray for all the people in the whole world and the people in other worlds like Disney World." It was all I could do to not bust out laughing but I just thought that was the sweetest thing....our children have such a way of understanding things. The Bible says: Come unto me like little children. I have to remember this and not be too "religious" in my ways...Just love Jesus. Here is a picture of my sweet handsome son....

  2. That's funny but so true! Children are wise beyond their years!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love "meeting" fellow homeschoolers - we need all the support we can get!

    Blessings,

  4. Lisa, I'm so glad that you stopped by for a visit. Yes, I love the sweet things our little ones say. My youngest who is 11 and has CP loves to give me compliments. Last week, he told me "You smell so nice mom ~ just like a fresh washed dog!" LOL You have just reminded me that I need to write these things down as well.

Love Georgia. We lived there for 2 years and my husband always hints at returning.

    Smiles,
    Lea

  5. How sweet! I wish that I had written down all those innocent (but funny) things my kids have said. Kids are so sincere and genuine and say exactly what's on their heart...I just love em'!
